Take 2tsp rice flour, 2 tsp besan, 2 tsp corn flour in a mixing bowl
Now add the spices. 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Take a pinch asafoetida and dissolve it in little water. You can also put asafoetida powder instead. This enhances the taste of the dish and acts like antacid too.
Now add salt as required. Add a little more salt as the babycorn will absorb the salt
Now mix all the ingredients with help of a spoon.
Now gradually add water and mix the contents. See that no lumps are formed.
Bring it to dosa batter consistency.
Now put the babyconns into the batter and mix it properly. Marinate it for at least half an hour. You can even slice the babycorn vertically then dip in the batter. It gives better results.
After 30 min, now take each babycorn and roll it in rice rava
Leave it in hot cooking oil maintained on a medium flame.
Flip it evenly till it gets golden colour. Then remove it out.
That's all you have to do. Tasty, delicious babycorn rava fry is now ready. It tastes good with sauces or you can munch it without any accompaniment
