Hello all, here I am posting a special instant recipe, “Marie Biscuit Fritters”. I too had no idea of this snack until my husbands cousin Mr. Ananth Kamath said about this weird idea. I just thought why not try this and believe me the outcome was so tasty that I fell in love with this dish. Now I prepare it every now and then. As Marie biscuits are readily available everywhere it is hassle free to prepare and one more best thing about this recipe is its even size and shape. One would surely love to eat this again and again.
The only suggestion I would like to give for this dish is, consume it as immediately as possible. Or else the biscuit will lose its crispness and you feel like eating a chewing gum. These Marie Biscuit Fritters tastes almost same as Sweet Potato fritters. If a person is eating it for the first time without knowing what it is made up of, then he won’t be able to predict it.

Marie Biscuit Fritters | Instant Snacks Recipe | Cook N Eat
Ingredients
- 1 pack (24 biscuits) Marie Biscuit
- 75 g (5-6 tbsp) Besan Flour
- 25g (2 tbsp) Rice flour
- 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
- a pinch Asafoetida
- Cooking Oil for frying
- Salt as per taste
Instructions
- Add about 75g (5-6 tbsp) besan flour in a mixing bowl and add about 2 tbsp rice flour to it.
- Then add 1 tbsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder and about half tbsp turmeric powder
- Add salt as per taste
- Dissolve a pinch asafoetida in water and add it to mixture. You can even use asafoetida powder too.
- Add water gradually and dissolve the lumps formed and bring it to medium consistency (Dosa Batter consistency)
- Now dip Marie biscuits in this batter and leave it in hot cooking oil
- Fry on both sides for a minute.
- That's all. Instant Marie Biscuit fritters are ready to consume. Eat it immediately.
