Green Poha Chutney | Green pova chatni

Ingredients
  

  • 125g Flattened rice Ultra thin poha
  • 75g (1 cup) Grated coconut
  • 100g Jaggery
  • 4 Nos Green chili
  • 25g (2 tbsp) Coriander seeds
  • 6g (1/2 tsp) Mustard Seeds
  • 10-12 leaflets Curry Leaves
  • 12g (1 tbsp) Cooking Oil for tempering
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Take 100g jaggery, 2 tbsp coriander seeds and 4 Nos green chili in a mixer jar. Do not add water. When you blend jaggery it will turn juicy and is enough to make the paste.
  • Blend it to form thick paste.
  • This paste can be refrigerated upto a week and can be used whenever required.
  • Now take a big mixing bowl, add 1 cup (75g) grated coconut. Then add 2 tbsp of the paste we prepared and add salt as per taste
  • Mix it well and keep it aside.

For tempering

  • Put 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds in 1 tbsp cooking oil. Heat till it splutters.
  • Add 10-12 curry leaves and stir for a while
  • Add the tempered mixture to the mixing bowl
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Now add a bowl (125g) full of ultra thin flattened rice.
  • Mix it gently with hands. See that poha doesn't break. Mix it till all the poha blends properly with the mixture.
  • That's all. Tasty and instant green poha chutney is ready to eat. Serve it with lot of love and care.
