Mango Mastani | Mast Mango Milkshake | Cook and Eat

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium sized Mango Alphanso recomended
  • 250ml 1 glass Milk
  • 50g 4 tsp Sugar
  • 100ml Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 25g 2 tsp Basil seeds soaked in water
  • 10g 1 tsp Dry Raisins cut pieces
  • 25g 2 tsp Almond cut pieces
  • 25g 2 tsp Cashew Nuts cut peices
  • 10g 1 tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions
 

  • Peel off the skin of 2 medium sized Alphanso Mangoes, remove the pulp and put it in a blender. Keep some mango dices for the topping at the end.
  • Add 4 tsp sugar to it.
  • Add 1 tsp cardamom powder.
  • Add 250ml skimmed milk
  • Blend it and transfer it to a jar.
  • Add a little water and pour the left over juice to the jar. Do not add more water. Mastani milkshake is made up of thick pulpy juice. Mix the contents well.
  • Add 2 tsp of basil seeds in each glass soaked in water for around 15 min. Basil seeds helps in cooling the body.
  • Pour the milkshake into the glass
  • Put a scoop of Vanilla ice cream into each glass. Mango ice cream can also be used. Or ice cream can be substituted by whipped cream too. If whipped cream is used then add 2 tsp of sugar extra.

For Topping

  • Put few mango diced pieces. Cherries, plums, strawberry pieces can be added too.
  • Put cut pieces of dry raisins, almonds, cashews on the top
  • Decorate with a spoonful of left over mango juice. And refrigerate it.
  • Chilled Mango Mastani Milkshake is ready to be served.
